Upon arrival, officers entered the residence and made contact with Jacob Wayne Porter, 26, who was found to be in possession of a controlled substance. On Sunday, October 28, 2018, the Jasper County Sheriff’s Department served an arrest warrant for sale of a controlled substance on Jason Scott Hicks, 39, at his residence on CR 1216 in the Nazareth Community. Bond will be set by Judge Sullivan Dukes later today.Īndrew Wesley Jones and Thomas Eric Bordlon were later released without charges. All five suspects were discovered to be together and were charged with Burglary of a dwelling. Items reported stolen from a burglary call on CR 359 earlier that morning were discovered in the trunk of the vehicle. Deputies spoke with Alice Lofton and received a verbal consent to search the car. While Deputies were at the scene, a car driven by Alice Mina Lofton and occupied Thomas Eric Bordlon and Andrew Wesley Jones, pulled into the residence where the deputies and two suspects were. Deputies questioned these two individuals and while doing so found some items in the ditch which were identified as items that were once in the shed. Deputies arrived in the area and found Joseph Allan Smith and Danyell Little in the area. ![]() The resident reported to the deputy that two suspicious people had been seen going in a shed behind a residence near CR 33 and CR 31 intersection. On August 11,2019 at approximately 4:15 PM, a Deputy with the Jasper County Sheriff’s Department, received a call from a resident on CR 33 in the Claiborne community. Thanks to all departments involved, and to the citizens for helping apprehend these suspects. Both suspects were checked by ASAP Ambulance Service before being transported to JCSO. Property taken from the residence on CR 820 was recovered from the vehicle and in a wooded area near the accident scene. Chief Powe took the male into custody and Deputy Dewayne Hawkins apprehend another male suspect a short distance from the scene. Chief Powe and deputies arrived at the accident scene and were notified by Denbury employees and employees of a service company that a black male was seen on the pipeline a short distance from the accident scene. The Sheriff’s Department received a call about a one vehicle accident on CR 359 involving a red car. The Sheriff’s Department was notified by Chief Powe about what he discovered at the residence. Chief Powe responded with the home owner to the residence and noticed that the front door appeared to have been kicked open. On 11-04-2019, at approximately, 9 AM Heidelberg Police Chief, Huey Powe received a call about a suspicious red vehicle at a residence on CR 820 located outside the city limits. Anyone with information about Milsap’s whereabouts is ask to contact the Jasper County Sheriff’s department at 60 Jasper County Sheriff’s department is currently looking for the second suspect that fled, he is,Ĥ7 years of age, Milsap’s last known address is on CR 35 Vossburg. Deputies recovered two of the game cameras believed to have been taken from the property of residence, along with a 12 gauge shotgun, miscellaneous ammunition, gloves and face mask believed to be used in the home invasion. ![]() One subject fled from deputies into a wooded area, while the other suspect, Montez Lapatrice Gavin, was detained and transported to the Jasper County Jail. Deputies coming to assist, observed two male subjects fitting the descriptions, one on a ATV and the other next to a running vehicle at the intersection of Highway 503 and CR 35. ![]() LT Pinson began patrolling the area for the suspects. The homeowner was able to send LT Pinson the pictures. ![]() The home owner called stating he had pictures from his wireless game cameras of the people on his property. Jasper County Sheriff’s Department received an alarm call on February 8th around 10 AM, LT Jeremy Pinson arrived on scene and checked the residence.
